This Privacy Policy explains how NRG Circle collects, uses, and protects your personal data, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP).

1. Data we collect

Account data (email, name, username); profile data you choose to add (business details, photo, social links, phone); content you create (posts, reviews, messages, referrals); community and event activity; and limited technical data (IP address, device/browser) used for security and rate-limiting.

2. How we use it

To operate the Platform — authenticate you, show your public profile, power networking/communities/events, generate AI matches, process payments via Razorpay, send transactional and (optional) digest emails, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

3. What’s public

Your business profile at /@username (name, business, services, approved reviews, social links and contact you add) is publicly visible and indexable by search engines. Direct messages and your inbox are private.

4. Sharing

We share data with service providers strictly to operate the Platform — payments (Razorpay), email delivery, image hosting (Cloudinary), and optional AI providers for match suggestions. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Your rights (DPDP)

You can access and export your data, correct your profile, withdraw email consent (one-click unsubscribe / Settings), and delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings. To exercise other rights, contact us.

6. Retention & security

We retain data while your account is active and as required by law. We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, rate limiting). No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session) only. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18.
