This Privacy Policy explains how NRG Circle — operated by TechChase Digital Solutions, Globe Junction, 301, Globe Estate Next, New Kalyan Rd, MIDC, Tata Power, Dombivli East, Maharashtra 421203, India — collects, uses, and protects your personal data, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP).

1. Data we collect

Account data (email, name, username); profile data you choose to add (business details, photo, social links, phone); content you create (posts, reviews, messages, referrals); business registration numbers (GSTIN / Udyam) if you submit them for verification; circle and event activity; and limited technical data (IP address, device/browser) used for security and rate-limiting. We also keep a simple record of which of our emails (onboarding, digest, daily idea, trial notices) we sent you and when, the calendar days on which you were active on the Platform, the date you switch an email type off, and whether our email provider reports an email as delivered, bounced or marked as spam (a bounce or spam report stops further marketing email to that address). We do not use tracking pixels of our own.

2. How we use it

To operate the Platform — authenticate you, show your public profile, power networking/communities/events, generate AI matches, process payments via Razorpay, send transactional emails and (optional) onboarding, digest, daily-idea and trial emails, measure — in aggregate — whether those emails and our features are useful (for example, whether members come back after an email), prevent abuse, and comply with law.

3. What’s public

Your business profile at /@username (name, business, services, approved reviews, social links and contact you add) is publicly visible and indexable by search engines. Direct messages and your inbox are private.

4. Sharing

We share data with service providers strictly to operate the Platform — payments (Razorpay), email delivery (our email provider may record whether a marketing email was opened and which links were clicked; we do not enable this on sign-in or other transactional emails), image storage (Cloudflare R2), GST-registry verification (your GSTIN is sent to a verification provider to check it against government GST records), and optional AI providers for match suggestions. Images you upload are automatically screened for unsafe or obscene content by an AI moderation service (OpenAI) before they are stored; content that violates our terms may be removed and accounts suspended. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Your rights (DPDP)

You can access and export your data, correct your profile, withdraw email consent (one-click unsubscribe / Settings), and delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings. To exercise other rights, contact us.

6. Retention & security

We retain data while your account is active and as required by law; the email-send and daily-activity records described in section 1 are deleted when you delete your account. We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, rate limiting). No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We also use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure traffic and the performance of our advertising; these set their own cookies and receive usage data such as pages visited and sign-ups. They load only if you accept on the cookie banner. Links in our emails carry a campaign tag (for example utm_source=email), so if you have accepted analytics we can see which emails lead to visits.

8. Children

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18.

9. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland

NRG Circle is operated from India by TechChase Digital Solutions, which decides how and why your personal data is used. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the following applies in addition to the rest of this policy.

Why we use your data (legal bases).

Your rights. You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of use, a portable copy, and you can object to uses based on our legitimate interests. Much of this you can do yourself in Settings (export, edit, delete your account); for anything else, contact us. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Transfers outside your region. Your data is processed in India and by the service providers listed in section 4, some of which may be located in other countries (for example, the United States). Where the law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on the mechanisms it recognises, such as standard contractual clauses, where our providers make them available.

Automated decisions. AI features suggest matches and drafts; they do not make legal or similarly significant decisions about you. Uploaded images are screened automatically and an unsuitable upload may be blocked — if you think that was a mistake, contact us and a person will look at it.
